Associate Vice President, Client Relations
Amanda Anderson is an Associate Vice President, Client Relations of where she works with DDC’s clients to successfully implement large-scale issue advocacy campaigns. Her project management role includes applying the tactical use of data-driven research, digital platforms, strategic planning and campaign development, grassroots advocacy, and earned and paid media content development to yield measurable outcomes and bolster public opinion for clients’ flagship issues.
Prior to joining DDC in May 2018, Amanda was a government relations consultant at McGuireWoods Consulting for six years, ending her tenure as an Assistant Vice President, Federal Public Affairs. In that capacity, she worked with various firm clients on federal legislative monitoring, regulatory strategy, and implementing bicameral lobbying campaigns on a wide range of issues including energy, anti-terrorism, health care, and tax (among others). She has also held various policy internships including with U.S. Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-IL), the African Wildlife Foundation, and the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago, IL.
Amanda is a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in International Relations and Environmental Policy. A proud Chicago transplant, she loves everything about the Windy City including the Chicago Cubs and the wonky local politics.
On the weekends, you can find her exploring D.C.’s free museums, hiking, or tackling assorted DIY projects.
