Senior Vice President, Client Relations
Serving as a Senior Vice President of Client Relations, Teresa Stepic provides strategic counsel and program oversight to some of DDC’s largest clients – directing advocacy and communications campaigns at the local, state, federal, and international levels. Over the past eight years, Teresa has led large engagements for clients in the defense, manufacturing, and transportation industries – pairing traditional communications and brand strategy with advocacy expertise to keep advocates continuously committed and participating in client programs over the long-term. She also partners with DDC’s Business Development team to identify new business sectors to partner with on public affairs campaigns and programs.
Teresa leads the transportation industry practice group at DDC, driving advocacy and strategic communications programs that engage hundreds of thousands of advocates for America’s public transportation sector. In this role, Stepic has built strategic plans to successfully establish localized campaigns and execute political events to drive transportation legislative and regulatory objectives.
Teresa’s day-to-day role focuses on developing and strengthening client relationships to better understand their needs and achieve their public affairs goals. Overseeing a team of campaign strategists, Teresa works to bring client campaigns and programs to life while encouraging both staff and clients to challenge their thinking to deliver the best possible results on behalf of the client’s objectives. In this role, Teresa guides and mentors junior staff to build up their skills and groom them for success in the public affairs arena.
Teresa is also the co-founder of the Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) at DDC, bringing professional development opportunities and resources to women and men within the DDC office for the past three years. She is also an active member of Women in Government Relations (WGR), acting as the head of the Communications Committee for the past two years.
Prior to joining DDC, Teresa spent three years at an advertising and communications agency – building a unique expertise in marketing and communications, combined with political advocacy and engagement. She graduated from Gannon’s University Dahlkemper School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration.
