Associate Vice President, Political Operations and Media Strategy
Kristen Ricciardelli brings more than 13 years of extensive strategic political and communications experience to the political operations and media strategy team at DDC. On a day-to-day basis, Kristen is responsible for managing national and state-specific grasstops and grassroots campaigns and directing the communications strategies for the media in these campaign.
Before joining DDC, Kristen was at VOX Global where she developed thought leadership campaigns and provided strategic council on the political and media environments during the 2016 primary and general election seasons. Prior to her role at VOX, Kristen was at LMG Inc. developing and managing media strategies for Fortune 100 companies in industries such as defense, aerospace, telecommunications, and music licensing. Additionally, Kristen has held a variety of senior positions on political campaigns in Missouri, Virginia, Nevada, Colorado, Alabama, and New Jersey. She has also worked in media relations in the U.S. House and Senate.
Kristen attended Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri where she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Business Communication. After graduation, she went on to earn a Master’s in Political Management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She has also received a certificate in Mastering Negotiation from Harvard University’s Executive Education program. Kristen also currently sits on the board of the American Association of Political Consultants’ Mid-Atlantic Chapter and the Grassroots Professionals Network.
