Vice President, Political Operations & Media Strategy
Kevin leads DDC’s Political Operations and Media Strategy division, helping clients design and execute political, public affairs, and media strategies that reach target audiences and achieve measurable goals utilizing a range of tactics from grassroots outreach and coalition building to earned and paid media. He works directly with corporations, trade associations, non-profits, as well as government clients on a range of issues that are front and center in Washington, D.C. as well as back home in the states.
Kevin has over 15 years of experience as a public affairs professional, having served as a chief communications advisor to four members of Congress and numerous congressional campaigns. He has worked in every major American media market as well as an array of global and niche markets covering a wide-range political and policy issues. He has served as the Chief Spokesperson and Communications Director for both a Washington, D.C. based think tank and an industrial trade association. He has led message development and conducted media coaching, debate prep, and public speaking training for members of Congress, CEOs, and small business owners.
Kevin is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C. where he currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Affairs, and earned a Masters in Political Communications from John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
