Director, Business Communications
With more than a dozen years developing proposals, marketing materials, and communications for grassroots advocacy, public education, and PAC development campaigns, Adam Wagner has extensive experience working with leaders of the Fortune 100, industry trade associations, and business sectors ranging from health care and energy, to trade, bio-pharmaceuticals, and consumer products.
As DDC’s Director of Business Communications, Adam heads a team of proposal coordinators, writers, and marketing professionals in developing new business and marketing communications to support the firm’s growth. He works closely with executive leadership and across departments to synthesize strategic recommendations for client campaigns into compelling vehicles that drive new business.
Formerly, Adam served as Director of Communications for SevenTwenty Strategies, a public affairs firm that helped introduce Internet advocacy and digital grassroots in the U.S. Prior to that, he served as Senior Writer at Direct Impact, the grassroots arm of the global public relations firm Burson-Marsteller.
Adam earned his M.A. in English from Northern Arizona University and a B.A. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
